Founded in 2014, the mission of the Cook County Sheriff's Memorial Foundation is as follows:
The Cook County Sheriff's Memorial Foundation will continue to honor sworn and civilian members of the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, both current and retired.
The Foundation endeavors to provide continued support to surviving family members of Cook County Sheriff sworn members killed in the line of duty or while in active duty status serving their communities.
